At SPB Electrical Services, we are well experienced in working with period buildings. Our customer had always wanted to live in a period property and moved into a Victorian terraced house in the Yardley area of Birmingham. Although the décor of the house had been updated to a modern style, following electrical testing, the wiring of the house did not meet current government standards and regulations.

As our customers have two young children, rewiring their property to make the home as safe as possible was a top priority. We were able to successfully and safely rewire the property, fully testing all wiring on completion and supplying our customers with a copy of a BS7671 Test Certificate to provide peace of mind.

After getting a number of quotes from electricians, we decided to go with Simon from SPB Electrical Services. Price was important to us after just moving, but more importantly was the trust we had in them. It wasn’t a quick fix job and myself and my wife wanted to feel comfortable with people working in our family home.
